  1. Pkg Info

  3. 2.x only. Select package(s) in Extras, select "Pkg Info" in action menu.
  4. Displays information about an application, book or autopart(extension)
  5. [not storage or built-in apps]:
  6. - package name
  7. - *version; (2.x); # parts
  8. - store name: size in bytes (and compressed size if applicable)
  9. - creation date and time
  10. - developer copyright

  12. If you select a built-in or copy-protected package, PkgInfo pops up a menu of package names.

  15. Let me know if this is useful, and what other info you would like to see
  16. (assuming it's available, it fits and I have time).  If you have Freeze Utils
  17. (from Standalone), you don't need this -- use its "Package Info" command.

  30.   earlier, if you selected a built-in or copy-protected package, PkgInfo did nothing;
  31.   now, it pops up a menu of package names (unless you're in Storage or All folders)

  34.   yet another surreptious way to get the PkgInfo item to appear in Extras menu
  35.   moved package name to top/title line (and PkgInfo credit to 2nd line)
  36.   store name precedes size, e.g., Internal: 3380
  37. - 1.0b (25 Jun 97): Pkg Info should now appear in menu after reboots (deferred install)
